In the world of Fashion, designers have muse and models have Alva Page. Alva who has gained recognition as a sought after Fashion Runway Model Coach trains and develops models on what it takes to command the runway. Alva is also known for his effective and extremely motivating approach, and has excelled as a runway coach working with agencies, designers, casting directors and producers from around the world. He embraces the individuality of every model’s unique form and teaches each to create a walking style that is true to the runway.
Alva’s career started 20 years ago after a brief session with the internationally recognized “Prince of the Runway”, Martin Snaric. Snaric concluded that Alva was “a natural” and encouraged him to quickly purse a career in coaching. Snaric’s conversation echoed in Alva’s mind and therefore gave the transition into runway coaching the momentum it craved.
Currently, Alva’s expertise has allowed him to experience venues such as “MTV “Made”, BET’s “Rip the Runway”, TV Land “She’s Got the Look”, and FOX 50 “Charlotte’s Rising Star”. Through Alva’s coaching, models have walked the runway from New York, Milan, and Paris fashion shows.
Alva’s list of milestone continues to grow in various print, media, and publications such as, News&Observer, Style 360 (Elle Magazine), and Editor at Large. “That’s why I do this; knowing that I help lay the foundation of success. Alva’s motto is “It’s not where you walk but how you walk”.
